Digital Solutions for Social Care in Kent

Wednesday 27th February 2019

In partnership with KICA, kent County Council held it's first event for care providers to highlight some of the digital options available to social care and the importance of the sector moving forward 'out of the digital desert and towards a digital Oasis'! The event was well attended and delegates had the opportunity to hear from CQC, Skills for Care, NHS Digital, KCC, KICA, Kent and Medway STP as well as see supplier demonstrations. The day started with Anne Tidmarsh, SRO Workforce Kent & Medway STP launching KCC's Digital Strategy and providing context for the day ahead. This was followed by national speakers, supplier demo's, a digital view from KICA and closed with a managers view of using and developing digital technology within their care organisation.
